I collaborated with the management team and employees to implement operational improvements that focused on quality, productivity, efficiencies, labor, and cost savings. Director of Company Wide Quality Assurance, I was the quality liaison for our customers at all four locations under the Parker Plastics umbrella. - Led the launch of the 120,000 square foot Hagerstown, MD production facility in 2005, directing a broad array of start-up responsibilities that included utilities infrastructure, facilities layout, procurement of production equipment and office machinery, supplies, and staffing; developed relationships with local vendors.

- Personally, led the interview and hiring process for Management Positions i.e., Quality Manager, Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, Warehouse Manager, while serving an integral role in decisions for all other positions in the Hagerstown, MD facility and other locations within the Parker organization.
- Maintained a turnover rate of less than 5% during time as Plant Manager.
- Exercised accountability for $16MM in P&L representing raw materials, parts inventory, and labor expenses for a plant that produces packaging that generates $18MM in revenue; administers operating and capital budgets in the millions of dollars.
- Served as the project manager in charge of the installation of new equipment, tooling design, and new and existing bottle qualifications; navigates each initiative to achieve milestones and deliverables on-time and within budget; engages in international travel to qualify equipment to ensure suitability prior to purchase.
- Assumed a lead role in safety programming for the facility; leads food safety inspections and established a culture of safety awareness that resulted in zero lost time incidents within the first five years of operations at the Hagerstown, MD plant.
- Administered the plant’s Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Warehouse/Production systems; directly oversaw all supply chain operations and materials management.
- Within one year, authored and deployed third party inspection programs at four facilities in accordance with Food Safety/3rd Party standards, which evolved into the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program based on Food Packaging/Safety principles in accordance with industry standards from GMP’s, HACCP, Chemical Control, Food Defense/Food Safety, Pest Management and Quality Assurance, achieving scores of greater than 98 out of 100 points.
- Contributed additional service and expertise facilitating the debut of a production facility in Nevada.
